NARAYANGANJ: Another Rapid Action Battalion-11 (RAB) member gave a confessional statement before a court on Tuesday over the Narayanganj gruesome 7-murder case.

The RAB man, Lance-nayek Billal Hossain, gave the confessional statement before the court of Narayanganj Senior Judicial Magistrate HM Shafiqul Islam.

Narayanganj District Lawyers' Association President Mohammad Shakhawat Hossain Khan said eight people confessed under section 164.

Earlier, RAB personnel Habilder Arif Hossain, Habildar Emdadul Haque, Sepahi Abu Tayab and lance-nayek Hira Mia gave their confessional statements.

On April 30, seven bodies, including Narayanganj panel mayor Nazrul Islam and his four aides and senior lawyer Chandan Sarker and his driver were found floating in the Shitalakshya River.

They were kidnapped from Dhaka-Narayanganj Link Road on April 27.
