DHAKA: Foreign minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali termed Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s upcoming visit to Bangladesh on Saturday as a milestone.

The FM told media at a press conference at his office on Thursday.

According to the minister, during his one-day visit Abe and his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina will sign a treaty on Joint communiqué.

Abe will be the first Japan premier to visit Bangladesh after 2000.
