DHAKA: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel in a drive detained five fake dentists from city’s Karwan Bazar area on Thursday.

The detainees are- Elias Hossain, Alauddin, Hasanur Rahman, Tofazzal Hossain and Assistant Aktar Hossain.

Meanwhile, they fake doctors were jailed for nine months each and fined Tk one lakh to their each institutions.

Sources said that a team of RAB-2 led by Executive Magistrate Anwar Pasha started the drive which continued till Thursday at 2:00pm.
