MYMENSINGH: Three people were killed and three more injured in a road accident in Shamvuganj area of the district town on Saturday noon. 

The deceased were identified as Shakil, 15, a student of class ten, Harun, 26 and Abu Ishak Ali, 45. 

Locals said that a passenger bus collided head-on with a battery run auto-rickshaw in the area, leaving two dead on the spot and injured four others.

Later, another died on the way of Mymensingh Medical College Hospital. 

Kotwali Thana Officer-in-Charge Fazlul Karim confirmed the matter to banglanews.
