Another Bangladesh pilgrim dies in KSA

RIYADH: Another Bangladeshi pilgrim, who went to perform hajj, died in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia early Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Shahazan Sikder, 71, Sadar upazila of Pirojpur district. He went there through Shuvo International, a travel agency. His passport number was BB-0390047.

A source of Makkah hajj mission confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Shahazan died of cardiac arrest in Misfalah area of Makkah at 1:45am (BDST 4:45am).

With this death, a total of two Bangladeshi nationals died in KSA.

On September 3, one Masuda Khatun, 82, died of old age complications there.

This year, a total of 98,683 people from Bangladesh under the management of 835 government and private agencies have got KSA visa to perform hajj.

Till Friday, some 23,182 arrived at KSA by 62 flights of different airlines.
