DHAKA: Police recovered a body of a security guard from Dhanmondi area of the city on Saturday night.

The deceased was identified as Hiru Mia Mollah, 52.

Sources said that the victim was a security guard of Road-14, House-13 in Dhanmondi and went missing on September 4. Later, his brother filed a general diary with Dhanmondi thana.

The body was recovered from the lift of basement of the house. 

Confirming the matter, Dhanmondi Thana Sub-Inspector Masud Rana said that several injury marks were seen in the body.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, he added.
