SIRAJGANJ: Two fish traders were killed in a road accident in Chala bus stand area under Belkuchi Upazila of the district on Tuesday morning. 

The deceased were identified as Gurupad Hawladar, 42, son of Kuti Hawladar and Prokash Hawladar, 38, son of Probir Hawlader. 

Sources said that riding a van the victims were going to Chala fish market and at stage the van went out of order. They stopped on the road to repair the van in the area around 7:00am, and then a goods laden truck ran over them, leaving the fish traders dead on the spot. 

Belkuchi Thana Officer-in-Charge Anisur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
