DHAKA: A mild tremor, measuring Richter Scale 5.4, shook some parts of the country, including Dhaka and Chittagong, on Tuesday afternoon.

The tremor was experienced at 3:30pm, said official from Metrological Department.

The epicentre of the earthquake was in Mizoram of India. However, there was no report of any casualty or damage.
