NAOGAON: A man and his son were killed in a road accident in on Naogaon-Rajshahi highway in Kusumba area under Manda upazila of the district on Tuesday night.

The deceased were identified as Ehtesham, 40, and his son Shuvo, 12. They were hailed from School Para area of Mahadebpur upazila of the district.

Police said, the man along with his son, riding a motorbike, were on their way to home from Rajshahi. A Rajshahi-bound microbus ran over the bike in the area at 10:00pm, leaving the both of them dead on the spot.

Police recovered the bodies and filed a case.

Manda Thana officer-in-charge (investigation) Abdur Razzak confirmed the matter to banglanews.
