DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Thursday placed four people, including sub-inspector Asaduzzaman of Special Branch (SB) of police, on a 3-day remand in an arms case.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Anwar Sadat passed the remand order when Officer-in-Charge of Uttara Thana Kazi Shahan Haque produced the before the court with a 5-day remand plea.

The other accused are Saiful Islam, Mahbubul Hasan Apu and Mashiur Rahman.

Earlier on Wednesday, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested them while trading arms in Uttara Section-6 area.

Later, the elite forces also recovered a foreign made pistol, three rounds of bullet and a magazine from their possession.
