DHAKA: The leaders and officials of World Health Organization (WHO) are enchanted watching Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s sincerity in developing the health sector of the country.

WHO’s Regional Director for South-East Asia Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh came up with the assertion in a press conference at Sonargaon Hotel in the city on Friday.

She also said that there was no other PM except Sheikh Hasina who came three times to participate in a single program. We are pleased to experience her sincerity in this regard, she added.

Dr Poonam also said that the Health affairs leaders of the world also were satisfied with this sort sincerity of the premier.

On September 9, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was present in the inaugural function of the program.

Later on September 10, she joined the program where WHO honored Saima Hossain for her outstanding contributions to the area of Autism Spectrum Disorders.

She also joined in a side event on Autism on September 11.

Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh also praised Sheikh Hasina and said that I have not seen such sincere PM about health sector in my 15 years’ career.

Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim was also present in the event.
