DHAKA: A cake seller woman was killed in a road accident in city’s Mirpur area on Friday evening.

The deceased was identified as Razia, 40.

Daughter of the deceased Bithi told banglanews that a rashly driven passenger bus knocked her mother down while she was crossing the road in the area in the evening, leaving her injured critically.

She was rushed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where on duty doctor declared her dead.

Her body was kept in the hospital morgue for autopsy.
