JHENAIDAH: A fugitive was killed in a gunfight with police in Patbila area under Kaliganj Upazila of the district on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Motiar Rahman alias dacoit Moti 45, hailed from Gobrapara village under Harinakunda Upazila of the district. 

Confirming the matter Kaliganj Thana Officer-in-Charge Anwar Hossain told banglanews that Motiar was wanted in 14 cases including police constable Hares Ali killing case.
