DHAKA: The Detective Branch (DB) of Police submitted supplementary charge-sheet against Oishee Rahman and two of her friends in the case of killing father and also Special Branch (SB) Inspector Mahfuzur Rahman and her mother Swapna Rahman.

The two others accused are Asauzzaman Joni and Mizanur Rahman Roni. They are now in Kashimpur Central Jail.

DB Inspector Abul Khair Matubbar submitted the charge-sheet to Dhaka Metropolitan Session Judge Court on Wednesday.

In the charge-sheet, names of nine witnesses have been removed and new eight witnesses are included.

Five of the new witnesses are magistrates.

However, the case hearing has been conducting in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Session Judge M Zahurul Haque.

Some 19 witnesses gave their deposition and others will give on September 23.

On May 6, the court framed charges against three accused, including Oishee.

The case against another accused housemaid Sumi has been transferred to the Child Court.

On August 14, 2013, SB Inspector Mahfuzur and his wife Swapna were stabbed to death at their rented flat in Chamelibagh in city’s Malibagh area.

Police recovered their bodies on August 16.

Their daughter Oishee, 19, with housemaid Sumi, 15, surrendered at Paltan Thana on August 17.

Later, Oishee gave a statement under interrogation claiming that she had killed her parents with the help of housemaid Sumi.

Investigators also found the involvement of two of her friends Roni and Joni in the murder and they were arrested later.
