DHAKA: A man died after falling form the rooftop of a two-storey building on Sadek Khan Road in Rayer Bazar area of the city early Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Monir Sheikh, 35, a driver, son of Kabir Sheikh of Gopalaganj district.
  
Moiz Uddin, a resident of the area, Monir fell down accidentally while talking over cell phone and got an electric shock as he came in contact of a live electric wire.

He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where on-duty doctor declared him dead.
 
Monir left behind wife and two children.
