DHAKA: A shoe-factory worker was killed in Gulistan Bangabazar area of the city early Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Sumon, 20, a labourer of a shoe factory in Siddikbazar area.

Police arrested three persons for their alleged involvement in the killing.  They are Mohammad Rahim, Monu Mia and deceased’s workstation manager Rizia Begun.

Shahbagh police recovered and sent the body to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue in the morning.

Operation Officer of Shahbagh Thana Sub-Inspector Nasim said, “There were injury marks in his throat.”
