FROM NEW DELHI: Bangladesh Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali on Friday categorically said ‘Saradha incident’ is India’s internal matter.

The Minister came up with the assertion while talking to journalists after holding a meeting with Uma Bharti, Minister for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation of India, in New Delhi in the noon.

The Minister also said, “We have nothing to say about the matter as it is a totally internal matter of India.” 

However, he expressed his hope that the matter would be resolved soon.

On September 12, Anandabazar, a Bangla newspaper from West Bengal, published a news item claiming that Saradha Group financed Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami to commit violence.
