DHAKA: Customs Intelligence officials held one person with 520-gram gold at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Friday from in city.

The detainee is- Faisal Ahmed, 36, hailed from Mushiganj district. 

Sources said that acting on a tip off, the law enforcers held Faisal with the gold, who came from Malaysia by a Malaysian Airlines Flight MH102. 

Confirming the matter, Custom Intelligence Department Deputy Director Mustafijur Rahman told banglanews the seized gold worth about Tk25 lakhs.
