DHAKA: Hundreds of commuters have remained stuck on Airport Road in the city due to long tailback flowing a cement laden covered van turned turtle in front of BRTA office of Khilkhet on Thursday morning. 

Local sources said that the accident took place around 7:30am. 

Confirming the matter, Khilkhet Thana Duty Officer Ismail Hossain told banglanews, the vehicle turned turtle as front side wheel of the covered van disconnect from the vehicle, leaving the van helper injured. 

Later, the injured was sent to Kurmitola Hospital. 

Following the incident, a huge traffic jam was created in the area causing immense sufferings to office goers.
