DHAKA: Members of National Moon Sighting Committee will meet at Islamic Foundation in the capital on Thursday evening to review the reports about sighting of moon of the month of Zil Hajj to ascertain the date of Eid-Ul-Adha.

The meeting will begin at 6:45pm where foundation will review the news of moon sighting for the holy month of Zil Hajj of 1435 Hijri (Arabic calendar).  

Religious Affairs minister, also the chairman of the National Moon Sighting Committee Principal Matiur Rahman will preside over the meeting.  

People have been requested to inform about moon sighting through 9559443, 9555543, 9556407 and 9558337 and fax 9563397 numbers if they can see the moon from anywhere across the country.
