ISIS ‘member’ held in city

DHAKA: Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) detained an alleged member of Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in Purana Paltan area of the city on Thursday night.

The detainee is M Hafizur Rahman.

DMP deputy commissioner (media) Masudur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Detailed information on the matter will be disclosed at a press conference around 11:00am on Friday, said Masud.
