DHAKA: The advance train tickets sale ahead of Eid ul-Azha and Durga Puza is underway for second consecutive day on Saturday.

Railway sources said that the advanced train ticket sale started from 15 counters targeting 11,500 tickets sale in a day. 

However, the advance tickets will be sold for five days ahead of the occasion.

Nevertheless, train tickets for October 1 to October 5 are available chronologically from Friday to Tuesday.

The return tickets will be available from October 3.

A person will be able to buy maximum four tickets.

Some, 25 percent tickets will be sold through online and mobile service.

Besides, six thousands tickets will be sold for VIP and railway officials’ quota.
