BAHRAIN: The Bahrain embassy authorities recovered 2200 passports of Bangladeshi expatriates of Bahrain.

Bangladeshi Ambassador to Bahrain Major General K M Maminur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said, some companies, accomplice with some fraudulent group, grabbed the passports of some Bangladeshis. Now, those Bangladeshis can not return to Bangladesh or join in any company or change the visa without passport.

Maminur said, considering the allegation of long time they appointed a Bahrain advisor to recovered the passports.

Citing that the details of the passport holders have been published in the Bangladesh Embassy’s website, the ambassador said they can collect their passport from the office.
