DHAKA: At least three persons sustained burn injuries in a fire at a paint factory in South Matuail under Shyampur of the city on Tuesday.

The injured are Kamal, Babul and Mofazzal. They have been admitted to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Sources said that the fire broke out at Nishan Paint Factory of that area around 12:45pm.

However, the fire had been doused by the locals before fire service team reached there, sources added.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Fire Service and Civil Defense headquarters duty officer Shahjadi Sultana said that the fire was originated from a chemical machine after it became hotter over excess temperature.
