DHAKA: Rapid Action Battalion, in countrywide separate drives, arrested three people for their alleged involvement in the gruesome killing of four people of a family in South Keraniganj, on outskirts of the capital.

The detainees are Sumon, mastermind of the killing, his wife Afsana Akhter and his associate Chan Mina.

RAB made the disclosure through a SMS (short massage service) sent to the journalists on Wednesday morning.

RAB will hold a press conference at its Jatrabari office at 12:00 noon on the day.

On September 24, police recovered bodies of four people of a family - a couple and their two kids--from a house located at Kadampur in South Keraniganj area, on the outskirts of capital.

Following the day victim man’s younger brother filed a murder case with South Keraniganj thana accusing six unknown people.
