SIRAJGANJ: Two motorcyclists were killed and one injured in a road accident on west part of Bangbandhu Bridge at 6:30am Friday.

The deceased were identified as Kalam, 50, of Enayetpur and Belal Hossain, 30, of Belkuchi upazila.

Police and local sources said that a rashly driven bus rammed the motorcycle carrying the trio, leaving one dead on the spot and two injured.

The injured duo was rushed to Khaja Yunus Ali Medical College Hospital where Kalam succumbed to his injuries at 9am.

Officer-in-Charge of Bangbandhu Bridge West Thana ATM Aminul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
