Mom ‘kills’ son in city, 4 held

DHAKA: A woman herself allegedly killed her son with the help of her lover in the city’s Demra area on Thursday night as the son tried to refrain his mother from extramarital affairs.

The deceased was identified as Kamruzzaman, 30.

Meanwhile, police detained four people including the woman, key-suspect of the killing.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police deputy-commissioner (media) Masudur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews
