DHAKA: Aggyan Party members robbed 10 cattle after making five people unconscious by forcing to consuming adulterated foods on Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Meghna bridge area of Comilla on Friday night.

The ailing people are Ratan Mina, 40, Sujan, 25, Chan Mian, 40, Munur, 30, and Raju, 45.

They were come to Dhaka with a 10 cattle by a truck. On arrival in the area, a gang of Aggyan Party intercepted them using a truck, stopped the cattle-laden truck and forced them to drink adulterated foods that made all of them unconscious. The gang took the cattle and left scene.

Locals rescued them and admitted to local hospital and later shifted to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where they are undergoing treatment now.

The cattle were brought to its owners – Hamidur Rahman and Mizanur Rahman of the city’s Gulshan area.
