DHAKA: Commenting on opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chairperson Khaleda Zia’s threat to mass movement, prime minister Sheikh Hasina said that government will strongly face any sort of violence in the name of movement.
Government can take challenge, she added.
The PM further commented that the mental condition of BNP chief is not good.
When we called them (BNP) for dialogue, they did not come. Now, they are talking about it, Hasina said.
You (Khaleda) should set your mind first, then, say, what do you want, she added.
The premier came to these assertions in a short speech while exchanging Eid greetings with people of different walks of life on Monday morning.
She said the law and order situation in the country is good now. People of the country are celebrating Eid joyfully.
People, who wanted to go home, have reached home safely, she added.
According to her, everywhere the festival is being celebrated safely.
The PM in her Eid greetings also called upon the nation to hold the spirit of sacrifice.
