Unidentified girl’s body recovered in city

DHAKA: Police recovered body of an unidentified girl from a launch named Saykat-2 from Sadarghat in city on Monday.

Keraniganj Thana Sub-inspector (SI) Mukul Ranjan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The SI said being informed police recovered the body from the launch around 11:00am.

They initially suspecting that she was strangulated to death, he added.

The body has been sent to the Mitford Hospital morgue for autopsy, reports banglanews.
