TANGAIL: Two people were killed in a road accident on Dhaka-Tangail highway in Mirzapur cadet college area in the district on Tuesday morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Sources said that a private car plunged into a roadside ditch as its driver lost control over steering in the area around 9:30am, leaving two people dead on the spot

Mirzapur Thana Officer-in-Charge Golam Mostafa confirmed the matter to banglanews.
