RAJSHAHI: Two motorcyclists were killed as two motorcycles collided head on in front of the Nakkati Kali Temple of the city late Tuesday.

Details of the deceased could not be known.

Rajshahi Fire Service and Civil Defense (FSCD) senior station officer Shariful Islam told banglanews, fire caught the motorbikes following the collision, leaving three people severely injured.

On information, FSCD personnel rushed in and extinguished the fire. The injured were admitted at Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital where two succumbed while undergoing treatment.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Boalia Thana Officer-in-Charge Abdus Sobhan said, police were trying to identify the deceased.
