DHAKA: Police recovered a woman’s body from in front of Eden College of New Market area in city on Wednesday evening.
The victim was identified as Laiju, 27, wife of M Ikbal.
Sub-inspector Nizamul Haque of Lalbagh Thana confirmed the matter to banglanews.
He said they spotted the body lying in the footpath.
Then, the law enforcers took it to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where the attending doctors declared her dead around 8:00pm.
The body was taken to the DMCH morgue for autopsy.
