DHAKA: An unidentified youth was killed in a road accident in Asad Gate area of the city Thursday morning.

Witness Aksah told banglanews, a passenger bus hit the man when he was crossing the road in front of Talukder Filling Station in the area, leaving him critically injured.

He was rushed to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital and shifted to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) as the condition deteriorated where on-duty doctor declared him dead.

The body has been kept at the hospital morgue, told Nayek Nazrul Islam of DMCH police outpost.
