MYMENSINGH: Two brothers were killed in an attack by their cousins over land dispute at Rajbaria village in Nandail upazila of the district on Friday.

The deceased were identified as Tofazzal, 50, and Swapan, 35, sons of Akkas Ali of the village.

Witnesses said Tofazzal and Swapan locked into a clash with their cousins while they went to the field for irrigation.

At one stage of clash, the cousins hit Tofazzal and Swapan with lance in the morning, leaving the duo dead on the spot.

Confirming the matter, Officer-in-charge (OC) Saiful Islam Farazi of Nandail Model Thana said police rushed to the spot and prepared Inquest report of the bodies.
