DHAKA: President Abdul Hamid arrived home on Friday night after performing hajj.
A BG-036 flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, carrying the president and his entourage, landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 9:10pm.
A team of government high officials cordially received him at the airport.
Hamid along with a 47-member entourage left the country for Saudi Arabia on September 30 to perform hajj as the guest of the Saudi king.
President’s wife, his two sons and their wives, his personal assistant secretary, government high officials and politicians accompanied him during the hajj.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Abdus Salam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
