DHAKA: A youth died after falling from the rooftop of building in Banasree area of Rampura in the capital early Monday.

The deceased was identified as Kamrul Islam Pappu, 20, son of Abdul Kader Mia.

Family sources said that Pappu, who recently passed A-level from Mastermind School & College, fell down to the ground from the rooftop around 11:30pm.

Later, the victim was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared him dead around 12:30am.
