DHAKA: A youth, stabbed by some miscreants in Shingbari area of city’s Kuril Bishwa Road on October 3, succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Alimun Rajib, 32, son of Abur Rahim of Rajabari Uttar Khan area in city.

Witness and victim’s friend Kazi Rabiul Islam told banglanews that some 10/15 people led by a local terrorist Akmal stabbed Alimun indiscriminately on October 3, leaving him critically injured.

Locals rushed him to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he under treatment there, succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday noon.

Sub-Inspector Sarwar Alam of Vatara Police Station told banglanews that the autopsy report said that Alimun was killed by stabbings.
