DHAKA: Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police detained three people with four foreign made pistols in Gabtoli area of the city Wednesday morning.

Details of the detainees could not be known immediately.
 
Witness Akhter Hossain said DB police intercepted a private car (Dhaka Ga 11-3534) at 7:00am while it was crossing the Khaleque Petrol Pump area at Gabtoli.

DB searched the car, nabbed the three people and seized four pistols from their possession, added Akhter.

No comment from DB was immediately available on the matter.
