DHAKA: Veteran Journalist Fauzul Karim, also member of the National Press Club, passed away on Wednesday noon. He was 84.

Fauzul Karim, cousin of former President and founder of BNP Ziaur Rahman, left his last breath in city’s Green Road Central Hospital due to old-age complication.

He left his wife, a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.

He will be buried in Mirpur Intellectual Graveyard after Namaz-e-Janaza at Dhanmondi No-7 lake Mosque after Maghrib prayer.

Journalist Fauzul Karim worked in Dainik Banglar Barta and Dainik Sangbad.

He was also recognized as a researcher and he trained himself from Britain’s Thomson Foundation.
