SIRAJGANJ: A man committed suicide taking poison after giving poison to his two children over family feud at Asanbari village under Tarash Sadar upazila on Wednesday.

Father Iadul, 31, and his son Yusuf, 8, died while Iadul’s daughter Iva, 5, is in under treatment.

Police said Iadul and his wife Manjuara locked into a quarrelling over the gambling habit of him.

At one stage, Iadul locked the door and drink the poison after giving that to his children.

Locals rushed them to the Tarash Upazila Health Complex where Iadul and Yusuf died around 5:30pm.

Officer-in-Charge of Tarash Thana Ataur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
