SIRAJGANJ: Two persons including a minor were killed in two separate road accidents in Sadar and Salanga upazilas on Tuesday noon.

The deceased were identified as Sadia, 7, daughter of Saju Ahmed resident of Sadar upazila and Sahadat Hossain Liton, 38, van driver of Salanga upazila.

Witnesses said that a truck ran over Sadia while she was crossing road in Gazaria area of Sadar upazila around 1:00pm, leaving her dead on the spot.

In another incident, another truck rammed a van driver in Kutub intersection under Salanga upazila around 2:30pm, leaving him dead on the spot.

Officers-in-Charge of Sadar and Salanga Thanas Habibul Islam and Rashidul Haque confirmed the matters to banglanews.
