Deposition submission adjourned till Nov 10

DHAKA: The deposition submission of a case filed under the Explosives Act for the February 25-26, 2009 BDR mutiny was adjourned till November 10 as the court was not prepared.

It was scheduled to recording deposition in the cases on Wednesday.

Nabojoyti Khisha, the then officer-in-charge of Lalbagh Thana, appeared before the court to submit his deposition. But the court of Senior Special Tribunal Judge Jahurul Haque was not prepared for recording deposition.

So, the deposition submission of the case was adjourned till November 10.

Earlier, the court recorded depositions of 26 witnesses in the case.

On November 5, last year a special court sentenced to death 152 Jawans and non-commissioned officers, including Deputy Assistant Director (DAD) Touhidur Alam, for the 2009 Peelkhana BDR mutiny massacre.

Seventy-four people, including 57 army officers, were killed in the February 25-26 mutiny in 2009
