BAGERHAT: Bangladesh Navy arrested 13 more Indian fishermen from the Bay of Bengal for trespassing into the Bangladesh water territory.
Sub-Inspector of Mongla Thana Monzur-e-Elahi confirmed the matter to banglanews.
He said a patrol team of Bangladesh Navy detained them along with an Indian fishing boat named FB Abir while catching fish 85 nautical miles away from Mongla Sea Port on Wednesday noon.
They were taken to Navy Base of Mongla and will be handed over to police on Thursday afternoon.
The SI added that 42 more Indian fishermen, who were held in three phases from the same area, were later sent to Bagerhat jail.
