JHENIDAH: Law enforcers recovered nine “powerful hand bombs” at New Court area of the district town.

On information, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-6 personnel recovered the bombs early Thursday.

RAB sources said a team of the elite force conducted a special drive in the area around 4:00am and recovered the explosive weapons in an abandoned condition.

Company Commander of Jhenidah RAB-6 Major Kudrat-E-Khoda said, “The bombs might have been kept for creating anarchy in the area.”
