DHAKA: The 2-day-long third US-Bangladesh Partnership Dialogue started in Washington, DC on October 28.

Under Secretary for Political Affairs Wendy R. Sherman and Bangladesh Foreign Secretary Md. Shahidul Haque will co-chair the Dialogue.

The delegations will participate in conversations on a wide range of bilateral and regional issues.

The dialogue will feature three working groups on development and governance, trade and investment, and security cooperation, as well as discussions on regional and international issues.

The US-Bangladesh Partnership Dialogue provides the opportunity to expand the robust bilateral relationship between our two countries.

Bangladesh, which lies at the crossroads of South and East Asia, plays a key role in linking these critical regions. The United States welcomes the opportunity to use the Partnership Dialogue to further enhance our close ties.
