DHAKA: A woman was killed and a man injured as bricks fell on them from an under-construction building in city’s Mohakhali Wireless Gate area on Tuesday noon.

The identities of the deceased and injured could not be known immediately.

Sources said some pieces of bricks fell on two pedestrians from an under construction building in the area around 3:30pm, leaving the casualties.

Banani Thana Sub Inspector Ziaul Islam confirmed the incident to banglanews.
