JMB chief coordinator Nur detained

DHAKA: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-12) arrested JMB chief coordinator Abdun Nur along with four cohorts from Sirajganj on Friday.

The other detainees are--- Nur Islam, Nuruzzaman Arif, Abul Kalam Azad and Faruk Ahmed, activists of Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB).

RAB-12 sources told banglanews that the law enforcers detained them with huge explosives and bomb making materials, jihadist books from Sirajganj.

After an initial interrogation JMB leader Abdun Nur said that they were planning to keep communication with the top leaders of the party and to enforce their efforts to reorganize the banned outfit.

RAB media and legal wing director Mufti Mahmud Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews in a press briefing held around 5:00pm at RAB Headquarters in city.
