DHAKA: US Ambassador to Bangladesh Dan W Mozena said that the women of the Bangladesh can build a prosperous country through their dedication and strong volition.

He came up with the assertion in the inauguration program of Home Economics Association of Bangladesh (HEAB) at the auditorium of Home Economics College in the city on Friday.

Finance Minister AMA Muhith inaugurated the program as chief guest.

Dan Mozena said Bangladesh is self-contained in food and health for the strong will of the country people. 

The death rate of the country is also decreased. All this happened for the strong desire of the people. However this desire will lead them to a revolution for education, he added. 

He expressed hope that the nice people of this country will be able to establish Bangladesh as a prosperous nation and the women of the country will contribute a lot to building their nation.

The US envoy also hoped that the government will recruit eligible and quality teachers with a healthy salary and other remunerations. So the teachers will be able to provide better education countrywide.

He also suggested availing the internet service to all.

AMA Muhith said that Bangladesh is developing day by day.

He also said that Home Economics should be opened for both boys and girls. Men are Substitutes of women, so both should step ahead with the same rhythm, he added.

Chairman of (HEAB) Nasima Ferdous presided over the program where others were also present.
