DHAKA: Four policemen were injured in a road mishap in front of Al-Helal Specialized Hospital in Mirpur 10 area on the city early Saturday.

A speedy passenger bus hit them a CNG-run auto rickshaw, carrying the policemen, from behind at 5:00am, leaving them injured. The policemen were retuning to the police lines in Mipur-14 after finishing duty.

The injured are Nayek Shankar, 40, constables Rasel, 25, Tushar, 19, and Uzzal, 20.

They were taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) at first and later shifted to Razarbagh Police Lines Hospital.

DMCH police outpost In-Charge Mozzammel Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.
